The Artisans’ Guild Australia covers a wide variety of different crafts which have a long-established history. Some are practised in their traditional forms, others by way of restoration, while many have a contemporary aspect and reinterpretation.

Join us for this rare opportunity to hear firsthand accounts from members of the Guild as they share their experiences restoring and preserving much-loved aspects of the Mission building.
Stained-glass artist Bruce Hutton will share his experiences restoring the Chapel’s heritage stained-glass windows.
Learn how Gordon Byrne utilised his expertise in wrought iron design and construction to restore the Mission’s famous weathervane.
Woodworker and timber specialist Henry Hakopian will discuss his recent challenge restoring a cabinet that was delivered to him in pieces, in a wheelbarrow.
