An Evening of Sea Shanties & Folk Songs Roars into 2023!
Ahoy there!
If you loved the Wellerman Tik Tok craze, are still finding yourself thinking about the soundtrack of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag all these years later, or if you just like singing and want to try something new, then come down to the Mission to Seafarers for a rollicking singalong of shanties, folk songs, work songs, and drinking songs!
No shanty experience or singing ability is needed, and newcomers are very welcome!
These spirited songs are easy to learn, so you can join in with the refrains and choruses, and even lead a song yourself – if needed, there’s ample amounts of liquid courage at the bar!
The sessions will run every other Thursday night from 7pm.
